Have you ever thought about the influence and added value of nature on health, well being and social inclusion?
On the 15th of March 2022, the Wageningen University and Elevate Health – partners of Green4C – have organised an event to present some interesting opportunities in Green Care. Students from all universities are welcomed to participate!
In the last few decades, a growing body of research is demonstrating the benefits of the contact with nature on health and wellbeing. The term “Green Care” refers to all those practices that use nature and the contact with natural elements to promote health, wellbeing, and social inclusion. Green Care practices can represent an efficient tool to address public health issues, as well as social and environmental concerns. Against this background, Green4C seeks to promote Green Care practices and initiatives to reconnect people with nature and develop healthier and more sustainable futures.
