Connecting Nature is a five year project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Innovation Action Programme that will work to promote Europe as a global leader in the innovation and implementation of nature–based solutions.
The Summit
On June 2021 the project organised the Connecting Nature Enterprise Summit Poznań focusing specifically on the economic potential of nature-based solutions (NbS): with over 600 unique visitors, from over 65 countries, the European Commission has acknowledged that the summit has succeeded in “putting nature-based enterprises on the map”.
All the sessions were recorded and the recordings are now available on the Connecting Nature website: the draft White Paper on the Nature-based Economy is also available through the Network Nature website and as an expert in NbS, we strongly encourage you to contribute directly to this consultation.
Green4C booth
During the event our team had the opportunity to hold a booth: a moment of online discussion with all the people interested in the project and in the concept of Green Care itself. It was a new experience that allowed us to meet people from all over the world and to spread the word about the new activities planned.
An example?
The new online course “Green Care: from academic theory to entrepreneurial practice“!
Our team, guided by the University of Padua and Elevate Health, designed a high-level online course in entrepreneurship and innovation for students and professionals in the field of Green Care. The course will start in autumn 2021 and will be taught by Green4C’s well-trained team of professionals and scientists. Find out more details on the course here; pre-enrolment applications are open!
